I am a figurative artist born in Canada and currently based in Georgetown Texas. I work primarily in oil and acrylic creating delicately detailed paintings that fall somewhere between hyper-realism and magic-realism.

 My current body of work explores the human spirit and uplifting moments of connection with the natural world and the elation we feel when we connect with our deepest authentic selves. I convey this through composite images that often combine landscape, wildlife and portraiture human and wildlife with a storytelling dimension. The content is fluid - evolving as I paint, and I often inject humor and playfulness so my art is a balance of reverence and fun.

 I hope my art inspires a sense of wonder - that there can be magic and meaning in the most simple, often fleeting moments in our day to day lives.
