If you have a special image in mind or a portrait that you would like to commission, I will work with you to create a personalized painting. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your idea.

Purchasing and Commissioning Policy

All works will include a Certificate of Authenticity that verifies the painting’s origin and value, which is an important document for your original artwork.

Commissioned paintings are designed according to details provided by the client, noting references to past work and color choices. When I produce a custom piece, you will receive photos of its progress and a  final photo before the painting is delivered, so that you are able to verify that you are happy with it.

What is the payment process?*

All commissioned work requires a 50% down payment of the total up front to cover material costs and as a deposit. For larger projects, a contract will be signed that verifies you agree to the custom painting and understand that this type of artwork takes time and will be unique from other artworks. You will agree that regardless of outcome, 50% of payment is non-refundable as this is covering the artist’s time and materials put into the work. I strive to offer you something that you will be completely satisfied and happy to own!

How long do commissioned paintings take?

Custom work can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months depending on the waiting list. Please be sure to contact me with adequate time in advance of any deadlines and note when it is needed. *Pricing includes shipping and associated insurance. All artistic images remain the property of Debra J. Soule. I do not sell the rights to my images, whether commissioned or otherwise. You are simply purchasing the original artwork.
